County Auditor’s office open Saturday for voting

The office of the county auditor will be open on Saturday, Nov. 3, for persons to vote by absentee ballot and to return their voted absentee ballots for the 2012 General Election.  In Cerro Gordo County, the auditor’s office will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on that date.

An eligible voter may cast an absentee ballot in person at the office of the county auditor, or may submit a written request for an absentee ballot to be mailed to the voter.  Absentee request forms are also available at the county auditor’s office and the Cerro Gordo County website below.

Regular courthouse hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and a voter may cast an absentee ballot in person on any regular business day prior to the election.
