CL cheerleaders to perform

The community is invited to come support the Clear Lake Cheerleading Competition Squad as they prepare for the 2014 Iowa State Cheerleading Competition. The squad will perform their routine for the public on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. in the Clear Lake High School Gymnasium. The Iowa State Cheerleading Competition will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, in Des Moines at the Iowa State 

Fairgrounds in the Jacobson Exhibition Hall. Clear Lake will be competing in the 3A/4A session, which begins at 2 p.m. Members of the squad are front row (L-R): Morgan Sacia, Breanna Furst, Lauren Hanson, Alanna Monson, Marissa Olk.  Middle row (L-R): Sabrina Brakke, Ellie Tindall, Peyton Huey, Maddy Hartnett, Mindy Allenstein, Lauren Hewitt.  Back row (L-R): Chelsey McCarthy, Brooke Keith, Aspen Curtis, Leah Becker, Ali Witt, Erin Marshall.  The squad is coached by Nichole Sorensen and Holly Cooke.
