CL boys soccer team is ranked third in IHSSCA Class 1A

The Clear Lake boys soccer team, which made it all the way to the State semi-finals last season, is ranked third in the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association’s pre-season rankings for Class 1A.  

“It is nice to be recognized-- leaves us little room to climb and a long ways to fall.  It will be extremely important for us to perform every game if we want to move into the number two position by the end of the season, “ said Coach Matt Anderson.  “Rankings are a validation of success or a confirmation of failure.  We’ll find out which one, come June 4, 5, and 6.”
