CL and Ventura School Boards explore sharing
Clear Lake and Ventura School Boards were scheduled to participate in a joint meeting Tuesday evening, Aug. 23, at Area Education Agency 267.
Details of the meeting were not available at press time, however Clear Lake Superintendent of Schools Anita Micich said the meeting was scheduled to review current 28E agreements and sharing that is
already happening, as well as hear current information from the Ventura School Board. She hoped to “have a general dialogue about what some possible future sharing opportunities might look like.”
Monday night Clear Lake School Board President Tom Lovell read the following statement:
“This will be out first real opportunity to sit down and talk with Ventura about their plans for the future and whether they would like Clear Lake to play a role. We have had informal discussions over the past few years with Ventura. We have always told- Read More Via e-Edition
