Christopher was born on Oct. 25, 1968, to Gary and Dianne (Roskens) Anderson.  Chris graduated from Ventura Community School in 1987.  He loved participating in all sports, but especially football and track.  He enjoyed Friday night game nights because of the enthusiasm of the parents and fans.  After graduation he attended Iowa State University.

Chris served in the United States Army and developed a strong loyalty and love for his country.  He recently taught his children how to fold the American Flag, as well as the proper way to dispose of the flag.  He was concerned about our freedom, and the respect of our flag and our country.

Chris married Tracy D’Ann Shaw on Aug. 10, 1996, in Dublin, Texas.  He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Maybank, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Tracy Anderson of Gun Barrel City; his sons, Lucas Bramble, 22, of Colorado, and Chance Anderson, 11, of Gun Barrel City; his daughters, McKinsey Anderson, 14, and Alexa Anderson, 6 of Bun Barrel City; his parents, Gary and Dianne Anderson, of Ventura, Iowa; his sister, Kim Dickson and husband, Cal, and nephews, Mark, Drew and Cole, and niece, Jenna, of Clear Lake, Iowa; and sister, Shawna Crabb and husband, Andy, niece, Makenna, and nephew, Carter, of Ventura.

Chris will be missed by his family and many friends, but his memory will remain forever in each of our hearts as we remember and continue to celebrate the joy he brought us, and the life we shared with him.
