Charles “Chuck” M. Mousel

Charles “Chuck” M. Mousel, 52, formerly of Clear Lake, died Friday, January 10, 2025 at the HonorHealth Osborn Medical Center, Scottsdale, Arizona.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday February 1, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1001 9th Ave South, Clear Lake; with Rev. Josh Link and Rev. Jacob Greiner officiating.

The family will greet friends and family one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Newman Catholic School or St. Patrick Catholic Church in Chuck’s memory.

Charles Michael Mousel was born January 29, 1972, in Mason City, the son of Donald and Martha (Greiner) Mousel. In high school, Chuck was an active athlete, participating in both football and baseball. Chuck graduated from Newman Catholic High School in the class of

1990. Chuck continued his education at the University of Iowa, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business in 1994.

After graduating, he began his career in construction, taking on remodeling projects and new builds. With determination and skill, he eventually started his own business. Chuck moved to Arizona, where his expertise flourished as he worked on building new homes and restaurants, leaving a lasting mark with each project. Known for his strong work ethic, he carried that drive throughout his life, often described as a workaholic who poured his energy into every endeavor.

Chuck is survived by his parents Don and Martha Mousel; two children Zach and Riley Mousel; sister, Pam (Tony) Adams, nephew, Jordan (Ronza) Adams, nephew, Jacob (Sydney) Adams; sister, Sue (Michael) Denice, nephew, Dominic Denice, niece, Stella Denice. Chuck is preceded in death by his grandparents; aunts, uncles and his cousin Joe Greiner.
