Cardinals earn post-season honors

The Garner-Hayfield-Ventura softball team had three members named to the 2019 Top of Iowa All-Conference teams.  Jayden Hughes and Maddie Graham were both named to the Third Team and Trinity Smith received Honorable Mention recognition.

(Above) Car enthusiasts in 1994  - Classic car owners and enthusiasts had plenty to enjoy  in 1994, as the C.L.A.S.S. Car Club hosted a car show Friday  and Saturday.  Friday night the group gathered at the Barrell Drive-In before crushing around the lake.  Saturday, a show and shine was held at State Park.

Amy Jean Boehm, 86, of Clear Lake passed away on July 22, 2019, at MercyOne Hospice of North Iowa.

Memorial services were conducted at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, on Friday, July 26, with Pastor Al Berge and the Rev. Barb McCaulley officiating. Inurnment was at the Good Hope Lutheran Cemetery, in Titonka.

  Family suggests memorial contributions to One Vision (Opportunity Village), Salvation Army, or Youth for Christ.
