Steven Elliot

    Steven Craig Elliot, 61, of 8509 230th Street, died Jan. 25, 2012 at his home.  Steve’s wishes were to be cremated and no services will take place.
    Should friends desire, memorials may be directed to the Steve Elliott Memorial in care of Jean Peterson.

    Steven Craig Elliott was born June 18, 1950, in Pendleton, Ore., the son of Kenneth and Jean (Hartsook) Elliott.  Steven graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1968, and continued his education at North Iowa Area Community College. He received his accounting degree from the University of Northern Iowa.  Steve enjoyed collecting tokens, coins and he loved spending time with his nine cats.
    Steve is survived by his mother, Jean Peterson, Clear Lake; siblings, Karen (Tom) Meyer, Clear Lake, Pat (Bob) Anders, Oregon City, Ore., Beth Brouillard, Pendleton, Ore., Margaret (Pat) Desenso, Michigan, Judy (Ron) Smith, Florida, Patty (Mike)Buland, Colorado, and MaryLou (Mick) Wyborny, Mason City; along with several nieces and nephews.
    Steve is preceded in death by his father, Dr. Kenneth Elliott; step-father, Marvin K. Peterson; and brother, William Peterson.
    Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, was in charge of arrangements.
