Marian O. Bartleson, 87, of Clear Lake, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Britt Medical Center in Britt, Iowa.

A funeral service for Marian was held, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake with the Reverend Derek Yarian officiating.  Burial followed in the Clear Lake Cemetery.  Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.

Karren Rae (Kaster) Huff, 68, of St. Paul, Minn., died Sunday March 24, 2013 at the Ramsey County Care Center, Maplewood, Minn.

Due to her wishes, she was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held from 4 - 6 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the North St. Paul V.F.W., North St. Paul, Minn.  Family suggests memorials to Karren Rae Huff Memorial Fund,

Harold T. Brood, 77, Clear Lake, died Dec. 1, 2014, at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.  

A Memorial Service was held on Friday, Dec. 5, at the Open Bible Church, 609 S. 8th St., Clear Lake, with Pastor Will Hunsaker officiating.  

 Inurnment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, at a later date.  Military Honors will be presented by the Clear Lake V.F.W.  Memorials may be given to Hospice of North Iowa in his name.

Helen Olson, 93, of Clear Lake passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake.  

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, 101 N. 4th Street, Clear Lake, with the Rev. Dr. Patrick Hall officiating.  Inurnment will be at Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake. 

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel.

Ralph Daniel Ott Jr., 83, of Excelsior, Minn., formerly of Clear Lake, followed his son, Daniel, in death on Aug. 2, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Excelsior Covenant Church, 19955 Excelsior Blvd., Excelsior. Burial will be in Clear Lake at a date yet to be determined.
 In lieu of flowers send memorials to the SIDS Foundation or a favorite charity of the giver’s choice.

 Marie E. Jackson, 87, of Clear Lake, and formerly of, Kanawha, Iowa, died Friday, July 18, 2014, at the Concord Care Center in Garner, Iowa.
 In keeping with Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a future date in Clear Lake.
 Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Marie’s name to Hospice of North Iowa.

 Patricia S. Lomen, 87, of Clear Lake, died June 17, 2014 at the Oakwood Care Center, Clear Lake. A Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, with Rev. Tom Dettmer, of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later time in the Clear Lake Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church Music Program.  Clarence Low Jr., 85, Fertile, Iowa, died Monday, April 14, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa, Mason City.
A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18, at the Church of Christ, Fertile, with Rev. Rod Perry officiating. Interment was at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, where military Honors were conducted by the Clear Lake V.F.W. Memorials may be given to the Clarence Low Jr. Memorial Fund.

Dorothy E. Newburg, 97, of Mason City, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit.  Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 E. State St., with Rev. Sid Bohls officiating.  Per her wishes, her body was cremated and there will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery.
