Chamber announces new leader

Washington, Iowa Chamber exec will start here April 15   

The Board of Directors of the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Tim Coffey as its new executive director, effective April 15.

    Coffey is currently executive director for the Chamber of Commerce in Washington, Iowa.  He is a graduate of the United States Chamber of Commerce Midwest Institute for Organization Management and is a Certified Fundraising Executive with the Association of Fundraising Professionals. From 1996 through 2001, Coffey was the executive director of the Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa Foundation.  In 2001, he started his own fundraising consulting firm in Washington, Iowa, serving rural clients.
