Candidates begin to emerge for District 2 Supervisor seat

The field of candidates seeking the District 2 Cerro Gordo County Supervisor seat being vacated by Robert Amosson has grown to four.  Three candidates, two Republicans and a Democrat, announced this week they have taken out nomination {jcomments on}papers.  They join previously announced Democratic candidate John Drury, of Swaledale.  Drury is the mayor of Swaledale.

{jcomments off}The first day to file nomination papers to be a candidate on the ballot at the 2014 Primary Election is Monday, March 3. The deadline to file is 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 26.
