Local officials help to send meth dealer to prison for 30 years

A California man who conspired to distribute methamphetamine in Iowa was sentenced Friday to 30 years in federal prison.
Shawn Jones, 42, from San Diego, Calif., received the prison term after a Jan. 19, 2012, jury verdict finding him guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Jones was previously convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana in the United States District Court Southern District of California in 2006.

Donna Dull will preside as parade Grand Marshal
After more than four decades of helping youngsters get their education off to a good start, Donna Dull now finds enjoyment lending her talents to a number of civic groups.
