CL girls pound Lynx, 52-12

The Lions notched two more wins in girls basketball action last week.  The girls picked up conference wins on the road at Webster City and Hampton.  The victories pushed the Lions to 4-1 and keep them in contention for a North Central Conference title.  

This week the team is home for a pair of games.  They faced Clarion-Goldfield (1-4 in the NCC) last night and will take on St. Ed’s (4-1) Friday night, Dec. 14.  The only conference loss for St. Ed’s so far

Boys adjust to challenge IF-A; Use defense, free throws to top Humboldt

 

 

The Clear Lake boys spent the first week of the season taking on a pair of favorites in the North Central Conference.  The Lions posted a 1-1 record against their opponents, leaving Coach Kevin Kahler optimistic about the Lions’ prospects for the season.

The Clear Lake girls started the season a bit slow, but continue to build momentum.  The Lions dropped their first game of the season, but rebounded with a win against Humboldt Friday to even their record at 1-1.  This week the Lions traveled to Webster City
