New fire station now occupied

Clear Lake EMTs and firefighters are now operating out of the new Clear Lake Fire Station, located at the corner of North 8th Street and 2nd Avenue North.  
    “We’re absolutely thrilled,” said Fire Chief Doug Meyers.EMT’s made the move Friday, while fire apparatus was moved in Sunday.  Monday was the first day of complete operations out of the new building, said Meyers.

    Landscaping was in progress Tuesday and Meyers said minor details remain to finish up the facility. 
    Firefighters will host their annual Pancake Breakfast Sunday, Sept. 11 in the building.
