Loux named to NCC Second Team in softball

Clear Lake Head Softball Coach Nicki Petersburg has announced post-season conference and team honors. The Lions finished the season ninth in the 10-team North Central Conference field with a 1-15 NCC record.  The team was 2-25 

overall.

Junior outfielder Megan Loux was named to the All-North Central Conference Second Team.  Loux batted .393 during the season. Her 22 hit total included a triple and double.

The Clear Lake softball coaching staff also presented the following awards at the conclusion of the season: Jenna Peterson, Leadership Award; Sara Buelher, Dependability Award; Ryan Pierce, Most Improved Player Award; Victoria Culliton, Most Improved Player Award.

The following players earned a varsity letter for the 2012 season: Ryan Pierce, Sara Barlow, Megan Loux, Jenna Peterson, Kaitlyn Pitzen, Annie Snyder, Hannah Bartlett, Hailey Grell, Carney Frahm, Erin O’Tool, Reagan Brackey and Tori Fyfe.
