Farmers State Bank purchases Clear Lake branch of Bank of America
Farmers State Bank is purchasing the Clear Lake branch of Bank of America. According to Randall D. Hanna, president and Nathan Halverson, vice president, the agreement to purchase the $21 million branch was finalized Tuesday, April 24, pending regulatory approval. It is anticipated that the closing date of this acquisition will be in
August of this year.
“We are pleased to add Clear Lake to a growing list of communities we serve and are looking forward to serving the people of the Clear Lake area,” said Hanna.
Farmers State Bank is an independent community bank with an approximate $150 million dollar base and has eight locations across North Iowa in Grafton, Joice, Plymouth, Ventura, Northwood, St. Ansgar and two Mason City offices.
