One Vision hosted its annual Benefit Walk on Saturday, Sept. 15 in Clear Lake. The event is held annually to raise funds for services provided to more than 550 individuals of all abilities supported by the Clear Lake-based nonprofit organization.

“Events like the 49th annual Benefit Walk provide a way to not only bring our community together, but also helps raise awareness and generate crucial resources to support the services we provide,” said Jennifer Pinske, development officer with One Vision.

One Vision leaders said they have not yet reached their $90,000 goal, however donations are still being welcomed this week.  Meeting the goal will enable the organization to support 50 people in their search for meaningful jobs.

“That’s $1,900 per person for six months of job discovery, training, coaching and more,” said Pinske.
